The Stein Report- Pat Stein- July is the start of our fiscal year. Please pay dues at next meeting- $25-single, $40 - household.

Meat Raffle official recap- Rhonda Honan- The Meat Raffle was a huge success. It was by far the Club’s largest fundraiser . The total profit was $14,320. June 7 th at a “Hope Rises” event, Rhonda and her “Meat Posse” presented Kaelys Kindness Foundation with a check for $10,000! June 14th Rhonda presented $500 to her niece Kendra’s Girl Scout Troop #30404. Kendra was a big help at the Meat Raffle. $3,825 was donated to CHAT of WNY. Thanks to all the volunteers and to all that attended and spent loads of money. Rhonda mentioned that she may chair this event again next year.

Boat Party recap- Sandi Hoffman- everyone had a great time. 30 people attended. Will discuss repeating the event in February.

Judy’s Pools- Jim Dailey tending the pools in Judy’s absence. Season long pools are still available $80, $100, along with week 17- $10.

Super Bowl pools -Mick Vetrano- Two $1000 pools are open . The numbers pick party location to be determined. There will not be a numbers pick party for the other pools. Please pay Mick asap for the 33 square pool -$200. There is a waiting list to get into this one.

Dollars for Scholars/ Steve Hylkema Memorial Scholarship- Paul Donovan- two Sweethome seniors will receive $1000 a piece tomorrow night. Thanks for everyone who took the time to read the essays .

Mick suggested possibly expanding the scholarships even for 500$ a piece in memory of Jim Golombek to Emerson and in Bill Mcgurn’s name to Nardin. Mick will contact Emerson . Will ask Paul to help out.

Chat Picnic- August 17th at Jeff Lowe’s house at 5 pm- further info- next meeting.

Tonawanda’s Policeman’s Picnic- July 28th $30 in advance, $40 at the door. Buy your tickets soon , they expect to sell out.

Old Home Days- John Lainis- the club agreed to donate $100 for a sign - “ CHAT of WNY supports the Jolly Boys”

2023 Naval Park tour - will be discussed next year.

Brighton Place Library - Pat Stein will write a check for 300$ next month.

Ken Ton Closet- Rhonda- they started a new program for clothes for the elderly. Chat is on their web site for donating to them. Rhonda will contact them and report back next month.

Tonawnda Bike Path- Patty Conner looked into the club donating a tree- not available at this time.

Candyman location - if they start to get busier we may need to change the meeting date, Vince Caputi said Wednesday was good for now.

Mick reviewed the function of the Foundation. He stated the board is in charge of it and the goal was to build it yearly.

Charlie Vishion - asked if there was someone who could take over the Webmaster job just in case something happened to him . The new board will work on getting access to the website etc.
